June 20, 2008 - 2008 Celebrity Judges Announced

The Calgary Stampede Parade Committee is proud to announce two of this year's Celebrity Judges. Craig Moritz and Melissa Hollingsworth will judge entries at Fort Calgary on the morning of July 4th before riding through the streets of downtown Calgary in the Parade.

June 17, 2008 - Calgary Stampede announces 2008 Parade Marshal

Patsy Rodgers, the Calgary Stampede's very first queen in 1946, was named this year's parade marshal.

June 29, 2007 – 2007 Celebrity Judges Announced

This year’s Celebrity Judging panel includes former Calgary Mayor and Alberta Premier Ralph Klein, the Calgary Roughnecks Forward Kaleb Toth and two lovely ladies of Calgary’s television media - Tara McCool, Co-host of CityTV’s Breakfast Television and Astrid Kuhn, Host of CBC’s Living Calgary. The judges will show they’re Tough Enough to Wear Pink at Fort Calgary before presenting the 2007 Celebrities’ Choice “Tough Enough” Award and appearing in the parade.

June 19, 2007 - Calgary Stampede announces 2007 Parade Marshals

Leading the 2007 Stampede Parade as parade marshals will be Benjamin Jordan, Aaron Jackson, Rob Lewis and Carlos Köppen – four young Canadians who skateboarded across Canada in 2006 to raise money to fight breast cancer. Read the news release.

June 28, 2006 - 2006 Celebrity Judges Announced

This year's Celebrity Judging panel includes country singers George Canyon and Gil Grand, as well as comedian Jebb Fink and international model Heather Marks. Judges will present the Celebrity's Choice Award on parade morning at Fort Calgary before appearing in the parade.

June 20, 2006 - Calgary Stampede announces 2006 Parade Marshals

Leading this year's Stampede Parade as Parade Marshals are two people whose story at the 2006 Turin Olympics captured the hearts of all Canadians: cross-country skier Sara Renner and Norwegian national cross-country ski team coach Bjørnar Håkensmoen. At the Turin Games, after Renner broke a ski pole, Håkensmoen ran onto the course to give her one of his poles, enabling her to carry on and win a silver medal. Read the news release.
